The second volume of see/saw is out! An undergraduate print journal devoted to publishing original research in art history and art criticism, see/saw was founded at the University of California, Berkeley last year. The 2025 publication (volume 2, issue 1) features work from sixteen contributors, engaging myriad media and formats from documentary photographs found in student periodicals from Native American Boarding Schools to Luzon jars in Manila-based trade to Soviet Neo-primitive folk sculpture. As always, see/saw aims to contribute to diversifying the field and developing intersectional critical analyses of the artistic canon. Serving as editor-in-chief for this issue is Cassandra Kesig. Lead designer is Lily Belcher. Managing editors are Tessa Bandouveris, Mars Banham, Sophia Limoncelli-Herwick, Allyson Oh, Eva Cullen, and Lindsay Rule. Contributing editors are Callista Beros, Paloma Elfassi, Ariana Koenig, Seema Kulkarni, Mariana Hernandez Resto, Dempsey Sadler, Alexandra Saffman, Connor Vergara, and Maddie Qualls. Cover art is Kelcey Christen's woodblock relief print Skellig Michael.
