The California Digital Library Image Collections

The California Digital Library is a scholarly digital repository serving all of the UC campuses. The CDL provides the UC community with access to licensed content such as electronic journals, electronic books, and digital image collections.

Of particular interest to History of Art faculty and students are the many image collections the CDL has made available through Luna Insight. More than 30,000 images reside in the Luna Insight collections. You can access the collections from the CDL website. Here is a brief list of the collections offered:

Catena Historic Gardens & Landscapes
Claire Holt Indonesian Art Images
David Rumsey Historical Map Collection
Hoover Institution Poster Collection
Pratt Institute Fashion Plate Collection
