  • Transcending Beyond Berkeley Fellowship: Deadline is August 8

The Undocumented Student Program invites you to complete this application for the Transcending Beyond Berkeley Fellowship! The seminar will focus on career development skills such as entrepreneurship, professional leadership, team building, communication, delegation, problem-solving, networking, and much more. The program will pair students with a campus partner (the History of Art V-Lab is a campus partner!) to receive guidance to carry out a project that supports the department/unit/program’s goal. Student participants will be paired with campus partners. Students will complete 130 hours of service per semester with the hosting unit. Each student participant will receive a $4,000 scholarship in the academic year ($2,000 in the fall and $2,000 in the spring). • Four students receive prestigious predoctoral fellowships

The department would like to recognize and congratulate four of our students -- Alexandra Courtois de Vicose, Aaron Hyman, Grace Harpster, Michelle "Micki" McCoy --  for winning competitive predoctoral fellowships. Micki and Aaron received fellowships from the Center for the Advanced Study in the Visual Arts  (CASVA), Alexandra won an award from the George Lurcy Fellowship Program, and Grace received The Fulbright-Hays Dissertation Research Award.
