A Tale of Two Berkeleys: A Student Symposium About the History of This City

4:00 pm | 12/9/2021 | Live on Zoom | Until 6:00 pm | 12/9/2021
Presented by Professor Margaretta M. Lovell, GSI Elizabeth Fair and Students
This symposium focuses on the built environment of Berkeley’s Northbrae and San Pablo Park neighborhoods as collaborative long-term design projects, the result of generations of inventiveness and repurposing inspired by a sense of community and consensus as much as by divisive raw economic and social forces.
Sponsored by the UC Berkeley Women’s Faculty Club, Department of History of Art, and the Art of Writing Program.
